Both the economy and the loot system is broken at this point. Luke Smith in the director's cut tried to make it sound like things were going to improve when it comes to things as I mentioned. Personally, it has gotten to the point that I have become numb to their promises they are unable to keep. People don't like me posting negative things, yet they accept all the deliberate poor actions that have taken place this last year or so that has made the game worse off than it has ever been as if it's no big deal. Sorry, constantly making promises they can't keep, constantly looking for a way to extend the artificial grind, constantly saying "will do better" but their actions show otherwise is not a "positive thing" period. If anyone wants to defend this company that is their right but don't lie to use that this company isn't calculating most of their actions they make to only benefit them. Edit: Let me clear something up. I don't "hate the company" and (No one speaks for me.) I just don't like the deliberate poor actions they constantly make that hurt's the game more than anything else so I will express my opinion about it.

  • They are shooting their own foot. Sunsetting and no vender refresh should not coexist, its a matter of time before every surviving location becomes a desert. Its all about risk/reward, only BL will maybe offer a positve one. If they didnt had a plan for refreshing the surviving locations they should not have embarked on such an invasive sunsetting process.

  • Ive disagreed with you on other things, but you are 100% right on this. And thats coming from a once hardcore player and staunch bungie defender. But we cant defend this.

  • There is nothing wrong with disagreeing with anyone. If it's me that you do, as long as we can have a decent conversation I'm up for it 👍 IMO all the changes they have been making are actually unnecessary. Games shouldn't be based around "how can we force them to spend time playing our game". It should be based on, what can we do to where they would want to spend time playing our game.

I remember before sunsetting, I played the game literally every day, almost all day. (I don't have much going on, honestly.) But now that, that's in place... I took a four month hiatus, and have played... Maybe two hours in two weeks. Their plan for more engagement backfired hard.

  • I didn't play as much as you but when Forsaken dropped is when I was spending more time wanting to play instead of feeling I had to play sorta speak. I don't know if engagement is the word of what they are actually doing but it's what this game needs.

Forsaken changed everything. It was probably the peak of D2.
