Before someone is typing about the 4 bursts, that’s not what I’m talking about. 450 lightweight pulse rifles have the lowest damage in almost all pve activities while requiring perfect aim in pvp or 3 perfect bursts to get a kill. This archetypes has been completely overlooked throughout the entirety of d2. The exotics bad juju and outbreak as sub par at best as they can allow for an increase in damage, which is unfortunately quite situational. But it’s worse for the legendary versions. Chattering bone has an amazing perk pool but sees very little use in the overall landscape while infinite paths was literally unusable. I feel like 450s need the handcannon collapse treatment because there is no reason to have 2 different 450 pulse archetypes with one being less than useless.
I have been using outbreak since its re release back into the game A LOT and I’ve had enough with this archetype being forgotten, it needs some changes especially in pvp because it can’t compete with it requiring perfect play against these easier options.

Im just wondering why guns of the same archtype in this game, have different rates of fire. And damage outputs. Say a scout rifle does 50pts to the head and 25pts to the body. Shouldnt a 4 round burst pulse hit the same areas at the same point rating? It shoots the same bullets, but 4 instead of 1. Pulse rifles should be the most lethal in that regard. All snipers should have the same impact at the least.
