Objectively speaking: Is it really worth the price hike?

Let me preface this by saying I'm no D1 vet. I've been playing since a little before forsaken and have enjoyed most of the earlier expansions I've played through. Honestly, the last couple seasons have been lackluster in my opinion though. Opulence was probably the last home run. Regardless, I've preordered every DLC since I started, except this one. We lost 4 planets and the associated content (even Vanguard and PVP) with them but that subject is just beating a dead horse at this point (I know there are plenty of positives that came with it). At the same time, we are gaining less than forsaken, but just a pinch more than shadowkeep from what I've heard. Forsaken was $40 dollars as well, but you got everything. Shadowkeep was $35 and it included the season pass, so by that standard, it was only $25, making this DLC almost twice as much while we only get just a tad bit more content. I feel as though Bungie is beginning to take advantage of the diehards of Destiny and I'm just not cool with that concept. "They'll pay it simply because they love the game". I love Destiny myself (I've made it to Season rank 500 in 2 previous DLCs), but thats pretty steep. All that being said, is there anything truly innovative this season? It would literally need to be to the caliber of menagerie and then some to justify it in my opinion. Storms are cool, sure. I appreciate the clear improvement to the engine as well but if its that or content, personally I'd go with the latter. If I do end up buying it, I'll most likely end up going through a key website to bring the price more in line with what its worth (and even that might still be a little much. It depends really.). I don't usually like going through these sites as it doesn't support developers very much from what I hear, but from my standpoint, why should I want to support a company who is seemingly taking advantage of people who simply love the grind. This might garner some hate from some fanboys but I just tend to take all the factors into consideration. Endarken me, guardians.
