I doubt bungie will see this but felwinter's definitely needs to be available for purchase with all the other seasonal quest items in the monument to lost lights, and here's why.
This weapon being exclusive to only people who completed the quest back in season 10 is very unfair to everyone who didn't get a chance to obtain it. The gun is the best shotgun in the game for pvp, and for people who say it isn't, here are the reasons; only non sunset aggressive shotgun for pvp in slot, making it pairable with countless strong kinetic primaries, intrinsic shot package perc, set roll of ideal pvp perks that can be swapped based on situation(i.e swapping to vorpal to kill supers).
The only competitor right now is the astral horizon, which is pretty on par with felwinter's, but significantly harder to obtain, not to mention it is in the kinetic slot forcing you to use an energy primary. Obtaining just a few copies of this weapon proves difficult for the average player, but in order to get the god roll that will compete, it is a significantly slim chance. For reference, one of the only other viable choices for energy slot is the seventh seraph which just can't compete with felwinter's, and if I can open HUNDREDS of focused umbral engrams in season of arrivals and not get a god roll seventh seraph, how am I supposed to get a good astral?
In conclusion, if anyone at bungie is reading this, putting felwinter's in the kiosk is something simple that you can do to to be fair to your new players, and dedicated fans like myself that simply took a long hiatus. If all old seasonal exotics, and guns like not forgotten (obtained from one of the most difficult pvp quests ever), are sold in this kiosk, then this shotgun that anyone could get with ease in season 10 should be too. Because of felwinters' static perk roll and seasonal exclusivity, it should be treated in the same manner as the ritual/pinnacle weapons and exotics in the monument to lost lights.

No it was a reward for people that kept playing this shitty game but don’t worry they will give it to you so quit crying

No thanks. Felwinter's Lie was a mistake and I'm glad it's locked. The amount of salt that thing brought is enough for me to be happy that's locked away.

Thing is, Felwinter's is dominant enough with the amount of the playerbase that has it (permeating almost all competitive PvP). Saying that Felwinter's should be in the kiosk is the same as saying that: -Heir Apparent should be in the kiosk (it will be available eventually) -Dawning weapons should be in the kiosk -Festival of the Lost weapons should be in the kiosk Essentially, Felwinter's is from an EVENT. It is a reward for paying for content and engaging with it in a specified time frame. While it is very good, if you seriously need a good shotgun (if you are playing at lower levels having optimal range is unnecessary), consider investing time into PvP and getting a shotgun through Trials, it's more rewarding because you will become better at the game in the process, which will enhance the returns you will see on obtaining a highly meta weapon.

Edited by Harrowed Chaos: 11/20/2020 1:57:47 PMThere’s 2 options I thought of for getting a good energy shotgun 1. Bungie adds in way more shotguns into the game(like 2-3 of each archetype with different perks so there’s no reskins) so you have multiple shotguns that are better than Felwinter’s in one category but worse in another. (Example: Wish Bringer vs Felwinter’s. Wish Ender has a faster RMP so if you miss a shot it’s less harmful and you can dump the whole mag at like 10 meters and get the kill whereas Felwinter’s has a better OHK distance and a higher range, comparing one shot to one shot) 2. Bungie puts Felwinter’s in a Iron Banner quest but it’s slightly worse than the one from Season of Worthy. It could have say Corkscrew instead of Full Choke or Light Mag instead of Accurized. The masterwork could be reload and have something like Rampage instead of Openning Shot.

Why is everyone clamoring on about it this season? Last season there was nothing but suddenly it's Felwinter's Lie, Felwinter's Lie that. It was a way better gun in D1.
it should be treated in the same manner as the ritual/pinnacle weapons
Exactly. Put in the kiosk after it is sunset. Not any sooner. It isn't even going to have a full year like any other weapon, since it came out almost at the end of s10.

The shotgun on my Hunter is way better. What do you think ?
-
I 100% agree with everything you said, but they just always ignore felwinters lie posts so this wont lead to anything.
-
It will likely appear in the Iron Banner quest/lootpool this season or next season.

Git good and stasis the enemy then you can kill him with any shotty regardless of perks.
