Currently I don’t know a way of showing damage numbers off a successful clear?
Can we see the numbers from a successful clear please?
If anyone knows a way?
Peace!!
**EDIT **
Looking at the total storm of toxicity I decided to make this edit.
The post has NOTHING to do with “ego” “superior” or the want to “boot” another player from an activity. Just a fun way of learning and testing weapons and combos.
How are players getting “booted” if on a successful clear?
Anyway.......
I have tested A LOT after my first taniks clear and continue to learn and do so.
I’ve tried wardcliff, two tailed fox , a lot of snipers and even regular fusions rifles (that aren’t bad with no lunifaction well for the warlock!) slug shotty strat is only really great with a Luna rift making the crits hit around 50-60 k with lout range drop off.
The testing continues so please be mature and respectful of opinions and different options!
Peaaaaace!!!

For ANYONE who cares..... MERCILESS doesn’t work on the taniks boss . Momentum transfer is glitched (?) the charge time stays slow through the whole magazine .

My team just uses 5 Outbreaks with 1 Divinity. We don't have to worry about heavy ammo or special (besides Divinity) and it takes typically 2 dps phases.
-
Total damage vs DPS are 2 completely different things. Folks do understand that DPS means damage per second right?
-
I honestly don’t get why you can’t see damage after you clear the encounters either. If people are saying it’s because it’ll “Cause people to get kicked!” Well the encounter in done so who cares??? Your more likely to get kicked if you fail the encounter and see everyone’s damage numbers and there’s one person who’s dealing 1 mil less.

Didnt we kinda have this in D1? I could of sworn when crota's end came out, all we had to do is wait it out after defeating croat (last boss) and it takes you to the scoreboard. I could be wrong but I do remember doing something like that. While I def dont want to wait lol, but yea maybe pulling out your ghost at the end will display the scoreboard or if you beat the boss theres a screen you walk up to and interact with that let's you see the results. But I much prefer a regular scoreboard after defeating the boss. Let it pop up for abit and we can close it up.

I agree. After a sucessfull run of any activity, I like to know how my loadout worked - or didn't. It's not a brag or shame thing, just information.
-
agree with the post. Our fireteam likes to know, it has nothing to do with ego, its mainly to see who has what DPS range so we can help others in our clan get to higher DPS. We know on Taniks combining a well, bubble, Divinity and Anarchy does mass DPS, but we had some guys change to Cloudstrike and wanted to see the output Agree that there should be a post Raid report or something on screen
-
You can do this with Dungeons, or at least Prophecy. Had to wait for the mission timer to run out, but I don't think this works with Deep Stone Crypt. Kinda lame.
-
Try the Cheeseburger Cannon
-
I would love this to see if my chosen Loudoun helped during a boss clear or if I need to change it up.
-
"how are players getting booted after a successful clear" didn't know boss fights just happen at the end of a raid lol
-
Total damage, which is already shown, is just as useful as showing DPS, so there's zero point to this.
-
Edited by Mighty Shisno: 12/9/2020 6:47:21 PMPit of Heresy and Prophecy used to do this if you waited at the end of the dungeon until the timer ran out to take you back to orbit. It was always a fun little competition with my fireteam to see who could come out on top. For some reason, Pit of Heresy stopped doing it after Beyond Light launched.
-
Why so people can have another reason to try and lock people out of lfg. Must be able to do at 700,000 on first damage phase or will be kicked.
-
I’d like this too. Always fun to see what other people are doing and how they got their DPS.

Edited by Flame: 12/9/2020 12:14:35 AMPeople who are claiming it leads to gatekeeping or ego feeding completely misunderstood the point. If its "ego feeding", what makes it different from seeing your damage after a wipe? Seeing your damage after a clear allows for: 1. more self testing with loadouts without the need for the team to wipe. 2. Players will be able to see their average dps and be able to learn how to better it. 3.It will help players who lag behind their team in damage figure out the problem. I once encountered an issue where my friend was only getting 156k or less with his cloudstrike while I was hitting 1.5mill on taniks..it would be nice to see the damage after clears to understand why his damage was so terrible and help him improve it 4. Who does it hurt? Its just a fun thing to know! 5.most raid inclusive games offer a feature of this sort. 6. If they can include in a wipe screen why not a completion screen...its literally harmless 7. "It's a team effort", yes. You need to have all members optimized and doing good dps in order to win. If you don't understand that concept you're braindead. I don't expect everyone to understand, I'm no stranger to mm's or looter shooters but I Already know "the average player" will dislike my points.

I love the edit, skillz! 👍 It might add some awareness for those willing to read through the post. 😀
-
They gave this feature in -blam!-ing Gambit, but not raids

I definitely want to see this, it’s seems crazy to show failed attempts but not clears. It seems like a easy fix which would keep players happy. How can I improve my dps if I dont know how much I did 🤷🏻♂️. Like the original post said this is not a ego thing but just players who want to improve and experiment with different loadouts. Yes you will get the few people who will use it as something to brag about, or even slate others for low dps. People like that should be avoided anyways, they’re the same people who ask for lots of raid clear , certain exotics, or to know what to do day 1 😂.
-
Yes, please.
-
"ego feeding" that's crazy 😂 I really don't think there's a way to do it unfortunately you kinda do just have to wipe. I wish they showed it after the mission end timer though, or in orbit using the previous result command like you would between pvp matches.
-
i would love to see damage numbers in the raid AND in strikes in general. it would give the average player a way to see how well they did in a boss fight, or to look into the build of the person who did more damage to see what they are using. all around i think it would be a nice quality of life update. also its in gambit so bungie can do it.
-
No. It just leads to gatekeeping
-
They should add boss damage done to an after raid report that shows up on the app.
-
Edited by DredLaP: 12/8/2020 5:33:17 AMNot possible. I don’t need it. Killing the boss is a team effort. People dropping well, bubble, and using weps like divinity take one for the team. Clears are team win. Fails are a team loss. But you can test weps for damage. I like it that way
