What's the deal with the voice actors/actresses

I can get why Bungie might have narrowed down the voices, most likely money cuts but, I really miss the difference between the races, Humans sounding.. well human, Exo sounding serious and cool minded and The Awoken sounding elegant. I hope they recast all the old actors/actresses back for future content because the lack of variety is killing who I want my Gaurdian to be, I don't know if anyone feels the same but, it's how I feel. A fix I thought of is for bungie to give everyone a single chance to recreate their character's appearance and add a voice option for those that would like their Gaurdian to sound a specific way depending who they want their Gaurdian to be, maybe someone wants an elegant human or a serious awoken. In conclusion, I hope Bungie can rethink narrowing down the voice of our Gaurdian because while we want them to speak, we don't want them to sound almost dead inside, maybe some but not all of us.

  • Hello I'm in the same boat as you and find this sudden voice change very upsetting. There has been some discussion on this issue here on forums as well as on reddit. The only official responce we got so far is this: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/257624554?sort=0&page=0 That said there's a lot of other rather confusing info surrounding the issue. I've compiled what I could gather in one post on reddit in case you're curious: https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGame/comments/k5luud/why_does_my_human_sound_like_an_exo/gegg8ol/
