Scout rifles need a buff with their reserves
They need a buff with reserves at the very least. Even with a reserve mod it's barely worth it since you only gain an increase of 1-2 extra mags.
They should be on the level of Jade Rabbit [url=https://i.imgur.com/tQBmc0G.jpg]reserves[/url]. Having 300+ rounds is nice to have in PvE.
It sucks that we can only get a max amount of ~200 rounds even with a reserve mod. For example [url=https://i.imgur.com/xrws6rK.jpg]Symmetry[/url].
I'm not sure about you but I tend to easily run out of reserves with scouts like Trustee.
Maybe I'm just baked.

I’m currently having some gun with NTTE, but have otherwise only run scouts as my main weapon since the hallowed days of Badger, and I almost never run out of ammo. And I use it for everything except bosses and extreme long range sniper shots. But we do need some decent 150/180 scouts as world drops, since Oxygen SR3 was sunset.
