Improvements to D2 that i think are needed

1. Planetary vendors and the planet exclusive armor/weapons shouldnt be sunset, how awful it is for new players to get gear that's literally worthless for them to use because its sunset. With the content vault, planetary gear can be sunset when the planet is gone. 2.DLC besides current expansions should be sent into free to play (forsaken/ shadowkeep) or the expansion cost refunded for planets that get vaulted away to be returned at a later date. For the veteran players, we paid for warmind, curse of osiris, forsaken, and shadowkeep. Why is the content that we paid for useless with the intentions that later, might be vaulted away. Do we really have to pay for them again when the expansion/season that reintroduces mars and mercury releases?. 3. Factions should be a constant thing, if they are in the tower and you wont change them, make use of them. We stick to a faction, wear their class item or emblem, and we play the game for some extra loot on the side. Different class item ranks means faster rewards for the company we want. A large resource dump needed to change (shards, cores, glimmer, etc). That or just get rid of them entirely from the game and move osiris to the hanger, the crow to the FWC, and dead orbit can just be some repair people. 4. All hunts should be a playlist of their own like strikes. If you need a specific one for a quest, or you wish to "diffuclty:suicide" it, then you go the planet and you start it from there. New players are going to have a harder and harder time trying to get their stuff done on the moon as players move onto new things. Adding both nightmare hunts, Europa hunts, and hell even brand new hunts that can be a faster version of strikes (no add killing/hold the line areas in them just straight run and gun). There are enough hunts in the game now to make a variable playlist to run off of. Make the crow the vender for its bounties. 5. Trials of Osiris should have two "factions" to it, one from saint 14, the other from Osiris himself. As saint was the one to reintroduce trials to us, he should keep the current generation of the trials. Orsiris will sell "harder" passes in which both require flawless runs but each match has an extra difficulty to it, no mercy allowed. For example: "Go flawless and in each match, get a higher then XX% accuracy rating" pass name: flawless accuracy. Drops from the Osiris and saint don't differ, just completing the Osiris version yields both more loot and maybe an exclusive emblem/shader, for every completion during that season that change and update as season pass by. 6.Certian weapons should ignore the sunset rule or be given an ability to allow them to bypass the sunset to remain current. Not all guns, just guns that bungie can keep fine tuned so the loot pool remains generous to players and we don't get locked out of guns because there's too many of one type. Escpecially when certain mods require a certain gun thats now vaulted/sunset and never seek again...aka rasputin guns 7.Story skips should be built into the game, as there's really no purpose to go through high adrenaline campaign missions, when you already know how it ends because you beat it already on another character. There's really no struggle besides the time wasted of going through the story again since your first character probably gave your 2nd and 3rd, the guns or hell the armor to make the drops from the campaign worthless besides shard fodder. 8. Light abilities should have been changed to match the abilities of stasis in some degree. As it stands, stasis is better in both combat effectiveness in pvp and pve, because the shards grant both immense power in what they do, and immense power from the fact that they can change stats like "+10 discipline" meaning that if 2 players have the exact same rolls on their armor, the one with stasis equipped has an advantage which is really stupid in the long wrong. Especially with the intent to introduce more version of stasis...(my thoughts for the new stasis abilities are poison based and taken base, (solar/poison, arc/stasis, void/taken) 9.Mods: we all currently use the charged with light mods and the warmind cell mods to carry us and give us those extra boosts that make us feel better. In about a year or so, warmind cells are about to be turned off as the weapons that you need for them will be sunset. I dont know very much about charged with light mods, but thats alot of effort players put into the game for it only to be turned off due to the fact of sunsetting. 10. Better strike rewards: Im not talking about strike specific loot, im taking about better rewards at the end. Getting a bunch of useless blues that take up post master space on a long run of heroics to complete bounties is quite annoying when all they will be is just shards and gun parts in about 2 minutes. Hell, even an option to out dismantle blues of a certain light range to shards so the final chest is a bunch of legendary shards, a purple or 2, and the tokens. 11.Vendor loot: Back in d1, vendors had a ranking system that you gave them tokens, the numbers went up, you got loot. We don't have that anymore that's obvious, we instead have a bunch of tokens that once you hit the soft cap to the game, are useless to you as the gear dropped from said vendors is at a lower stuck light level. I think I have over 3,000 gunsmith materials just sitting in my vault, waiting for the day to come when they will be useful, and no, I've played enough to get most if not a lot of the mods that he can give away at this point. 12. We paid for dlc, it should still be there in some regard: We paid for warmind, we paid for osiris, we paid for forsaken, we paid for shadowkeep, we paid for armory. I can understand that when the game went free to play, some losses would be made, which saddens me, But whats worse is the fact that content that could easily remain int he game is now useless. Take the black armory, its literally still in the tower, just locked behind a door which we can easily see through and notice the racks of weapons. Why didn't the vendor become a higher stage of gunsmith, selling bounties to create specially rolled guns. An example: "Kill 200 cabal, get 100 precision kills, and get kills with kill clip active to obtain a XXXXX weapon with kill clip". End game players can make the guns they want and have players build them up. Like using handcannons drops hand cannon parts that the vendor can use to make a bounty, like the oven of the dawning event, just at a vender instead. Once the parts are down, you need a trait for it, so you use guns with rampage/killclip/outlaw, to get another set of items to drop for traits, then you complete the last bounty to get the weapon. Gives all players the black armory feel and with vendor rank ups, get upgrades which allow you to get the specific gun you want down to the masterwork. A gun all your own I will add more when i think of them, and if this gets too long, ill move it to reddit
