It's close, but The Beatles win; without Sgt. Peppers there probably is no Pet Sounds. The Beatles were so fast ahead of their time, wstch that vid about "Tomorrow Never Knows" from Revolver...absolutely groundbreaking. And there really was no "Beach Boys," it was Brian Wilson and The Wrecking Crew.

Why is this even a debate?
beetles
Beatles, because apparently I have a haircut exactly like them.
Quarantine has made me into a monster.
Beach Boys is a better name.
Sorry, all out of salt.
-
Beach Boys because I didn't have to play their music in band class, and every concert for two schools (our small town and another small town shared band nerds), every year for four years.

On a music level, they’re equal in my book, beach Boys looked better though so they get my vote.

Haven’t heard much by the Beach Boys so not really fair for me to comment, but what I have heard doesn’t really compare to the Beatles. Did the Beach Boys pen Norwegian Wood or Love You To? Didn’t think so.

Strawberry Fields Forever man.

Didn’t The Beach Boys NOT know how to surf or swim?
-
Ummmmmmmmm That's more difficult than I expected. I have to say The Beatles simply because of history, but the Beach Boys were as influential in their genre.
-
Beach boys 100%. The Beatles have some incredible tunes but I have a lot of nostalgic memories associated with The Beach Boys from when I was a kid so I typically prefer their sound and songs.

Beetles because history.
