I’m not sure if this a glitch or not but for me the rewards I get for killing wanted enemies, public events, looting chests, ect have been dropping well above the soft cap limit. I have a quite a few rare gear with a power level of 1258 and another legendary gear with a power level of 1259. This is what the cap stats are. Floor: 1100 (The lowest power level gear can be) Soft: 1250 (After you reach this you need to earn powerful gear) Powerful: 1300 (After you reach this you need to earn pinnacle gear) Pinnacle: 1310 (The max power level for all gear) So as you can see, the rare gear rewarded from doing public events, ect should be maxing out at 1250. But instead they are dropping with a power level within the powerful gear range instead. Is there something I’m missing? Is this a glitch? Or is the soft cap actually 1260 and Bungie made a typo and put 1250 by mistake on that one site? I’m not complaining or anything. Makes my game play experience easier than it has to be. Just thought I’d point it out and let everyone know.
