Hi all - I'm searching for any help regarding the error message "Problem reading game content. ... run "VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME FILES....' in Properties ...". This message comes up either multiple times a day, or I can go longer stints without it coming up (so playing, exiting out of Destiny, coming back the next day or hours later, and things be fine). It seemingly happens at random - no one activity/area is triggering the crash. Below is everything I've tried, as suggested by older posts:
-Simply "verify integrity"
-Changing the language of the game
-Set Destiny priority via task manager to "HIGH"
-Turn off shader cache on NVIDIA Control Panel
-Clean install (uninstall via Steam, then clear Destiny file from Program Files x86)
-I've run Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool (no issues found)
-I've done /RestoreHealth and sfc /scannow (Restore completed successfully, no integrity violations found)
-I ran memtest86 (No Errors found)
-I've tried deleting everything except the packages folder and then verifying/reinstalling
-Steam, Windows, NVIDIA Drivers are all up to date
If helpful, here are my PC specs:
-AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor
-Gigabyte B550 AORUS PRO AC ATX AM4 Motherboard
-OLOy WarHawk RGB 16 GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory
-Western Digital Blue SN5500 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive
-Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2060 6GB OC Video Card
