I just came back to destiny 2 after a year and I can't cross save anymore to get my old stuff is there anyway I could fix it?

What error do you receive when you try? Do you have another account linked to your profile? I only see Steam at this time.

My problem is presage mission won't unlock for my alt character at all. I've scanned the item, zavala has nothing for me, it's not in the quests kiosk, and I'm up to date on all my seasonal storyline. What can i do?
