Macro usage to turn a 200 rpm scout into a full-auto 200rpm scout in ONLY PVE

Hi, Title says it all. Is it allowed to use an official mouse programming program like for ex.: SteelSeries Engine to give you the comfort of not having to spam the MB1 on like a 200 rpm scout rifle or a 300 rpm sidearm inside PVE? Reason i would like to do it: So that i dont have to click all the time during hours of Nightfall farming. Inside PVE i dont see the reason it would be bannable since there are versions of these 200 rpm scouts and 300 rpm sidearms that can roll with full-auto perks. If you know anything about rules considering this particular question ,can you direct me to an official post? I dont dare to try it until i see a trusted source approving it, not risking a 2800hrs account. Thanks for help in advance!

  • I don't know the answer 100%, but I will say this. Are any macros allowed to run in this game? And if they are, how does Bungie know whether you're just using it for PvE or PvP. A macro that allows auto fire on a weapon that doesn't have it may give you an advantage in PvP, which Bungie would frown upon. But...like my first paragraph asks, are macros allowed to run, or does Bungie consider them cheats...?
