Statistical probability
If it isn't already on anyone's mind, I'd love to calculate all the little probabilities of finding/getting a certain thing whilst that thing is "freely" being offered.
Out of everything I could get out of a prime engram, the second one I decrypt is a heavy grenade launcher with icarus grip, on a day Vanguard offers a heavy grenade launcher bounty, and Banshee is selling icarus grip. Not that I really mind...

Doubt there’s any programming for prime engrams matching vendor items. I, however, seem to get lots of armor from primes and those I use mainly for infusion fuel. Maybe have saved 1 out of 100 armor drops (ballpark, not actual keeping track). Prime engrams just don’t feel special. Perhaps because, in general, >1% of all drops are any good. (Clan engrams, though, seem to have better drops?)
