How important are Guitar solos?
In any genre, not just Blues related genres.
Also, favorite song with a Guitar solo, and favorite one without one.

Depends on what genre of music we’re talking about. What’s more of an issue is that guitars have been pushed out of most contemporary music. Not for aesthetic reasons. But because they don’t fit into the way people want to record music these days.
