How hard can it be to port the controller mappings over from PS5 to PC? This controller works in nearly every other game I've tried, except Destiny 2. The only way to get it to somewhat work is to enable Steam support or use DS4Windows, neither of which provide proper support for the controller. In fact, D2 recognizes DualSense as an XBox controller when you use these methods and many of the controllers basic features don't work properly either. Before you say this is a Sony problem, it's not, it's a Bungie problem. Windows recognizes the controller just fine. Steam does too, Destiny 2 on PC does not and will not do anything with the inputs from the controller directly like it does for the DualShock 4. Please fix this and provide proper DualSense controller support for D2 on PC.
