What I did was lay out an example that nearly every player who has engaged in the matchmade Strike playlist has experienced, but sure, reduce it to "just my opinion". When random players are confronted with the simplest of mechanics, the results aren't always inspiring. Imagine that the matchmade version of Menagerie was able to be failed, resulting in no loot whatsoever. Remember the Warsat public event from Season of the Worthy? Two mechanics: keep enemies out of the zone for a set time, then throw orbs. Players complained (for many reasons) but especially because the event was just too difficult and could be failed. And while I have seen the Dark Side of LFG, there's nothing stopping players from setting up their own groups and making the restrictions as free or as restrictive as they like. By all means, have an opt-in matchmaking for raids, but mark my words, it won't be the solution people are expecting.

 • Again your opinion. I am cool with the selection of the opt in method of matchmaking. It is better than not having matchmaking and having to rely on an outside source that forces you play a certain way because most of them are elitists. This is a video game not a job. Players need to get that through their heads.

 • And once again, if you or any other player takes exception to how other LFG posts are made, make your own or join a clan. Regardless, despite appearances apparently to the contrary, I'm not against more players getting to experience raids. I personally have never completed a raid in D2, and only a couple in D1 (the original Vault of Glass and Crota's End), and I can tell you that those were some of the most fun interactions I've had in gaming. Those raids took communication (via headset), coordination, and a good bit of friendly/encouraging banter to beat. How often do matchmade players even bother turning on a mic to actually be supportive? How are matchmade randoms supposed to coordinate without headsets in the heat of an encounter? It's simply not feasible for matchmade randoms to beat a raid. By all means, prove me wrong.

 • What do I need to prove you wrong for? This isnt a job, it is a video game. I saying this game would be more beneficial if there was a matchmaking for end game rather than relying on the elitist LFG concept.
