I had the same argument myself in D1, but in reality it doesnt matter, I use whatever it is easier for my team to understand.
If I have to explain which one is future and which one isnt it would just end up confusing things, back in the days only elitist will insist in you using it, it would create a bad atmosphere and the raid would rarely end well

Well it def matters in New atheon to understand that teleported team is looking at oracles backwards unless they know it's the same room, and float over to spawn point. Otherwise everything is backwards for oracles call outs :)

Oh well, yeah, I mean whether or not is future, past, mars, venus, jungle or desert they surely know it is the same room you are teleporting to, I would be surprised if they dont but hey... world is full of surprises!

Yesterday I found the one guardian who didn't know this! And he "didn't agree" when I mentioned this (trying to nail down oracles call outs because they were shooting the opposite oracles) lol surprise !!
