This raid (which most people had to use YouTube and copy the actions and load-outs of others to complete) is so simple and easy right?
This is why everyone creates unique loadouts and team arrangements for the raid instead of copying Kackis' advice or some other sounding board
Perhaps... idk, you all suck at teaching and communicating how to figure things out?
Cause in every situation I have seen, it's the supposed (quick-witted) whom are the least adaptable and first to quit when things go wrong
These are the people telling others to "get good" while they quit within ten minutes of "Deciding" their team won't make it
Like that is literally the entitlement of these people- you be perfect or get out of my way
Meanwhile if anybody took the bullet to teach others, most of the community would know what to do
Far easier to get mad and blame another for "not learning fast enough"
Meanwhile the "explanations" given by the critics is no more developed than "herp, watch this youtuber and copy them"
Of course they would all know what to do, they "cheat the system" just to accomplish the bare min
But hey, it's our lack of skill that leads to us just actually playing the raid and not over prioritizing roles, functions and agendas- cause you know... raids were once about fun
Not the loot, or the rolls, or the emblems... but the fun of tackling a challenge with your friends
Which is why people were pissed at the artificial handicap placed on the first day- people just wanted to have a good time with their friends- and most of the community's response was (WELL YOU SHOULDN"T EXPECT TO BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE UNLESS YOU ARE COMPETITIVE!"
Competitive against whom? My fireteam or the adds?
Why do people have to treat end game content as a esport just to complete something?
And considering most "strags" boil down to "hey jim you stand here and do this all day and jamie you go and be this the whole day" I doubt it's skill that completes the raids- timing, prep and properly motivated assistance/leadership is what completes them
I bet if this game had the player count of SWBF2 or even BF3 most of this "god-tiers" would fall flat on their faces and be unable to get kills at all- because the shear volume of combatants would provide equal opportunity for these people to fight others of their similar "skill set"
Everyone cares abo0ut K/D but the most respectful thing? the sign of skill?
How many assist do you help others with, how often do you place yourself at risk to protect others on your team, etc etc
Real skills and behavior which are required to actually maintain a fighting force/milita- something these people and groups pretend to be...
None of these players build others or invest into others, their selfishness is rewarded but not a sign of a need for Bungie to continue to spite core players in favor of try-hards AND casuals
The every-man is tired of this crap, being forced into either spazzing out or not giving a damn at all is not what we consider Bungie's intentions were in creating this game
One would assume it wasn't to promote PVP or PVE
But a community united by a shared "Destiny"?
Yet even our raid groups are formed through division, shame and "cultural" expectations
