But to not run it at all? Plus you get gear which can up your light as you go. Like I said I've done it before and the max light were the ones causing us to wipe. It's just elite bs.

the raid is 1300 its really easy to get to that lvl just get there first theres no reason you schould play on the same dificulty as GMs or day 1 raids when you can just spend few hours to get yourself raid ready its like lvl 20 player going into lvl 30 dungeon in any other game its just stupid and makes it needlesly harder for everyone

The thing is that they don't know you personally, they don't know if you're a carry or dead weight or if you're good enough to be helpful still. Its not elitist to want the appropriate light
