Are macros legal?
I'm just curious what bungies stance is on them. Not as a afk tool but like a rage go to orbit Button, I saw Th3Jez have one. In addition if something like that is allowed could a button be allowed to help with double slug (ie help swap while you aim). I'm no hacker, but I'm just curious.
I know bungie has some products with razer and the keyboard has a profile tab that comes with the software for it, that allows macros to be used. So bungie "technically" partnered with a macro service.
Also if bungie has a specific part in the TOS that mentions macros just link it, But I couldn't find one.

Just because Bungie won't ban you, you shouldn't be another slide shotgun melee macro user. Please don't. It's cheap.

2 RepliesEdited by Canadia: 6/7/2021 11:20:52 PMUsing a macro will not get you banned, as long as it's not a macro to afk/bot there is no issue. Don't use a afk macr/bot in a core playlist you will get kicked and a temp ban from that playlist.

3 RepliesBungie partnering with Razer does not mean they support a “macro service”. Macros are used in special circumstances to aid those who need it usually people with special needs. If you intend on using macros I would definitely avoid using them in pvp or gambit
