Dear Bungie, today your Solstice of Hero’s events begins celebrating the heroics of all guardians. But today, I would like to tell you about another hero who was tragically laid to rest today. David Rollman was a wonderful man who loved his family and loved his country. He served both in his time in the Navy, and continued to honor them with the rest of his life. David stepped up to teach his eldest granddaughter how to drive when no one else would. He was a light to his family and anyone who crossed his path. David a was a kind and generous man, and even though he never played this game, I believe that he is a true hero deserving of the highest honor a guardian can receive. So while I participate in your event later on today, I will be remembering that a true hero was laid to rest on this day.
