Back during D1, I made this post to gauge what interests people might have for future content, so here it is again.
There's only 1 rule: You can pick one, change it, etc., but it's simply the most important one of the choices above.

I always have hoped for more immersion in the world, not more grind for level/loot that begs the question ‘ok I’ve completed all the content for the best gear so what do I do with it now? The same content over and over again but now made easier with my godly sniper rifle…?’ That’s why I dislike things like SRL and zeitgeist emotes. Less Guardians of The Galaxy/Robert Downey Jr. comedy and a bit more Frank Herbert. Weapon crafting, shaders and other cosmetics could actually be things like side quests with multiple interactions with npc’s from the lore. Not ‘endgame’ op level nuke-em stuff but I’d rather go off on a mission for a shader I like rather than have to buy it or use game currency for it. There’s too much emphasis and resources in things like raids and gm’s for me, I get that it’s like a big advert for them but the tedium of organising a group for a dedicated multi-hour long raid is just boring to the point of no-thanks. The artificial difficulty of gm is also not something that really interests me. It isn’t ‘challenging’ to do the same four-year old strike but now be one-shot by a shielded shank, for a pale imitation of a -blam!-ing D1 scout rifle! And nor is it that amusing or challenging (except to your personal fortitude and endurance)to be at the mercy of dodgy physics and lag to bounce outwards from a ledge you’ve jumped onto or have disappearing platforms appear and then have your character fall through them as you land on them! More maps, stories, inconsequential quests, in-game lore, adventures (what happened to them?), crafting and customisation by doing not buying. Less peak-climbing by repetition and less focus on ‘end-game.’ More focus on ‘the-game’ please.
