Is Destiny 2 worth playing as a solo player?

Hi, so I'm thinking about coming back to this game but idk. I'm a 'solo' player, so I don't do activities such as the raid because I don't want to talk to people.. Also how much stuff can a solo player do like matchmaking wise? And can solo players still hit max power level like raid players? And one more thing is Destiny 2 time consuming? Like I'm pretty casual and have a life (no offence lol) Sorry if my post was a long read, but thanks anyway <3

  • I am a solo player. Been playing for a few months now. I didn't play Destiny for years because I am not very social. I just joined a clan last week. I wish there were more options for single players, but it is still super fun. Specifically, we need more ways to farm comparable weapons and enhancement shards (the yellow shards). It's almost impossible to fully masterwork multiple weapons as only a single player. It leaves you at a serious pvp disadvantage for a long time. It would take multiple paragraphs to comment on the crucible. That being said, the game is awesome. I hope the devs continue to invest in it. A developer that really cares what their community thinks is rare nowadays, we got real lucky with Destiny 2.
