Getting this error after battleye starts
Windows 7
This has been reported on Windows 8 and 10 as well.
Reinstalls haven't helped, replacing dll hasn't worked, reportedly upgrading to Windows 10 has had some success but also some failures.
Patience is required, but silence isn't

Our issue made it to the top of the issue list in todays TWAB, so we have some progress, however shallow it may be.

I am having the Same Issue, i am On Win7, i am Totally disappointed that another Update is forcing me to miss game play, like when shadowkeep launched. Seriously bungie coordinate with your 3rd party Security Guys FFS. glad i held off on Pre-Ordering Witch Queen This morning....

Bungie get your fking sht together, I've already stopped playing other games such as Modern Warfare who are stopping support for Win7. No, I don't need you to tell me to upgrade to 10 cause it's "better" and more "secure". If I want every single virus on the internet to invade my privacy and steal my private info that's my -blam!- business, not yours. If you want to lose a bunch of customers who have bought items in your shop and were planning to buy more, keep going down this route, and fk you alongside every other dev that pulls this sht.

in the steam store in the description of the game there is no prohibition that you can not play on Windows 7

Same issue. I almost tried reinstalling my whole system before I saw your thread... My computer doesn't rly cling well with Win10. So please, Bungie, win7 users matter.

I can't believe it's still not working 15 hours after the launch. I guess i'll see you guardians in other games, i'm going back to dota and apex.

Same Same....Win 7 Missing file, hunted down and reinstalled all MS VS components, .Net, video drivers, checked game files and am in the middle of reinstalling now, not that i think that is gonna work. still in the same situation, same error message 0xc0000007b error..........

I was playing 2 days ago just fine, i was hyped and just wanted to play the game a little and now i can't even start it, i hope this gets fixed in the next few hours so i can wake up and try to play the game, i'm on windows 7 like everyone else and i really don't want to be forced to install another OS just to play this game, it's not like our PCs can't run it.

Same issue. Windows 7. Hey Bungie: Littie tip. You might want to test your new BattleEye software bundle with WINDOWS 7 PRIOR to release. Hmm.... just maybe AND...Could be a small little process problem with you team perhaps. :/ But hey what do I know...

sweet speeches what bungie did well at the presentation of the new season of destiny 2 poured from the monitor screen in an endless stream and in the end they did not even check the game will start in windows 7

Same here. Win7, tried reinstalling, deleting appcache and restarting, antivirus didn't quarantine anything, so no problem on that side. It just doesn't work.

Same problem here w7. Nothing works to fix It. Tried to restart computer, game, Steam... Reinstall game and battleye, verified archives. Hope bungie works fast to fix this because we have paid for the content and another error again to not allow to play in our platform

Also win7 user - before yesterday update all worked fine (except for cut scenes in 3 fps ). After update - can not start the game because alert "procedure entry point not found in DLL" whatever that mean. Re-launching battle eye.bat has no effect (same with admin rights) @BNGHelp6 kindly ask You to fix this ASAP

Habe das gleiche Problem. WIn 7 und seit Update und Anti-Cheat das gleiche Problem. Same here, Win 7 after the Update the game do not start.

I am jumping on this as well, I have exact same issue with the missing mystery file right after the update with my Win 7 Pro. I have had Destiny 2 for ages but just started really getting into it the last week as we are in hard lockdown here in Australia. So now a game I have put hours into the the past few days is unplayable, not to mention the 4 hours today for a reinstall and trying all the other bogus suggestions. Come on Bungie I was gonna purchase all the upgrades now I have a love for he game, but now ??? Have a heart for those in lockdown and need a diversion and fix this problem!!
