Getting this error after battleye starts
Windows 7
This has been reported on Windows 8 and 10 as well.
Reinstalls haven't helped, replacing dll hasn't worked, reportedly upgrading to Windows 10 has had some success but also some failures.
Patience is required, but silence isn't
If you're having the same problem, please post here so we can keep the pressure up.

Our issue made it to the top of the issue list in todays TWAB, so we have some progress, however shallow it may be.

Habe das gleiche Problem. WIn 7 und seit Update und Anti-Cheat das gleiche Problem. Same here, Win 7 after the Update the game do not start.
-
Same problem here Win 7 and I reinstalled the game
-
Same. Win 7. Glad to hear I'm not the only one with it.
-
Same here. Win7, nothing works
-
UPDATE: I've upgraded to win10 and tried launching the game but ended with the same results. I'll try to verify integrity of game files and download the missing file and keep you updated. ALSO 19 hours since launch and still no updates from bungie
-
Still no answer from them?
-
I also use windows 7 and I have the same problem.
-
Same here, Win 7 x64. When trying to start the game directly via "destiny2.exe", the missing file is recognized as "api-ms-win-core-path-l1-1-0.dll".
-
BTW its not just windows 7 I have a brand new build clean install of windows 10 Pro and im having muliple issues with that machine as well as my windows 7 computer too.
-
Yep same exact issue Bungie is not even recognizing there is an issue or issues and were not alone others are having issues with this new season and the anti-cheat garbage they are using.
-
Same Problem here with Win 7 Ultimate x64. I cant start the game; getting exactly the same error. Reinstalled Win 7 and aquired a fresh new legit License for 15 € - but the problem persits, the Error is still exactly the same and i cant play. So its definitely not KMSpico related as it seems (or related to cracked versions in general). Get this fixed asap Bungie. You still support Win 7 so we deserve top priority in this! Imagine what would happen when an update like this would suddenly prevent PS4-Users to play. Should they buy a PS5 then to be able to start the game again? Forcing us Win 7 users to install Win 10 is basically the same crap!
-
There's now a 14 tweet long thread on twitter posted by Bungie about issues... pre-release testing was not high-up on Bungie's #todo list for sure... it's a f**king joke, just not a very funny one.
-
Bumping again for visibility. It baffles me how they didn't think to check or test if Battleye was even compatible with all of the operating systems they advertise D2 can run on, while simultaneously not being surprising at all that they let this happen because Bungie.
-
I think they have already forgotten about our problem. How long does it take to wait and write for this to be resolved?
-
I have the same problem. Win 7.
-
any news from bungie?
-
win10 0xc000009a System version 21 h1 Uninstall reshipment useless Have tried to repair the DLL Install the VC
-
Windows 7 Pro same issue. Until its fixed my backlog will finally get some use!

Has anyone tried manually updating their visual C++ database and .NET framework 3.5 and 4 to the most recent release? Saw where someone grabbed the error log and it reporting a 0xc0000007b error, which is directly related to C++ database having a corrupt or outdate file that is being called.

Windows 7. All latest drivers, updates etc. D2 working fine (for win 7) before 3.3.0. Now same problem we're all having Verifying files? Does not fix. Running the battleye installer manually? Does not fix. Reinstalling D2? Does not fix. Installing a whole bunch of c++ redistributables? Does not fix. I'd really rather not have to "upgrade to Windows 10 as my pc works extremely well apart from this. Bungie please save us! : )

I am on WIN 10, and I get a whole list of .dll that are being blocked and the game does not start. The files are all part of the Systen 32 files and most of them are not even in any way required for the game?? I have tried reinstalling BatlleEye, I have reinstalled the whole game, tried with my AV on and off, exceptions added... nothing works. Really hope they fix this soon, I was so excited to play. (I am PvE only as well....)

Bumping and asking if there is an update...

-
Same issue with Win 7. I, too, tried to reinstall the game. Shall we still be patient?
-
Windows 7 64-bit. Have the same launch problem.
