Since the last update and beginning of season of the lost I've not been able to play D2. Like every D2 update which prevents me from starting D2 the latest was particularly destructive. I've played D2 on same computer for 1702.4 hours and tried many diagnostic and repair tasks without success.
Failure = On Steam launch of D2 application error occurs "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b)."
