Meanwhile we have people like ehroar who thing that it's supposed to only be the 14% increase for Firing Line when literally a year ago it was hitting 24.8% more damage.
One if not both are bugged.
Remember explosive light is a grenade launcher Perk so I imagine it's just bugged rn.

If you looked at my previous comment it said. Here is another way to look at it. The normal multiplier before the 15% headshot buff was 2.925 after it was 3.441 That means that original numbers amplified the regular shot damage from 8,893 body to 26,013 headshot meaning the original was 2.925 which matches up correctly. I.E. 8,893 × 2.925 = 26,012.025 But here is the problem.. 17,120 was the total precision damage increase with the numbers 2ish years ago. Which is 26,013 - 8,893 = 17,120 is how I got that number. Firing Line bumped the damage up from 26,013 -> 32,482 which... Subtract the base damage of 8,893 so 32,482 - 8,893 = 23,589 Then find the damage ratio increase over base 23,589 ÷ 17,120 = 1.3778 or... 37.78% more precision damage alone when it originally stated 25% Meaning based on numbers from the years prior it's 100% either bugged or nerfed more than stated. Because the original Firing Line increased base damage to a Crit by 25% not 25% to just precision damage.

Are you you dense? Read my previous comment about its numbers. It's 100% bugged.

Idk why you are saying lol when you are wrong lmao

Bungie nerfed firing line. They said in the TWAB
-
Yeah, but I thought they only nerfed it from 25% down to 20%? Because right now it’s not even doing 20%, I believe it’s only doing around 14%. Personally I’ll always go with vorpal, because I don’t need the extra damage for anything but bosses/champions.

While I do agree that it was changed, I don't doubt that BUT in this video https://youtu.be/AqI4PumNVC0 He did 26,013 per shot to the face... BUT THEN with Firing Line did 32,482 to the face... Meaning the multipliers for the damage was 32,482 ÷ 26,013 = 1.2486 Which turns out to be 24.86% more damage. In this video Ehroar put out today... He does 41,826 per shot to the face AT BASE... Then he hits for 47,758 with Firing Line. Meaning the new multiplier is... 47,756 ÷ 41,826 = 1.1418 Which is only a 14.18% increase. But it's even less for LMGs being a total of around 6% increase. The numbers don't lie that something somewhere changed. What I imagine happened is Bungie swapped the damage from being a flat increase to only a precision increase resulting in lower numbers. (It went from 25% which is did a year or so ago to now being only 14% for some weapons which is still the 20% if you only look at the precision numbers.)
