Well done Bungie. Well done.
The redemption arc of uldren sov just came to fruition... and he will be manipulated by Savathun moving forward.
After this week, I actually wanted to go back inside and shoot Savathuns crystal until it was shards. Screw the worm, screw the mission, screw the fact I put my titan between savathun and crow to stop the entire touching the crystal to try and preserve Crow as a guardian and he just reached past me. His memories were never going to be that important and now? He literally states his anger at us (read the dialogue after that moment) is because we didn't tell him.
Well hunters. Good luck in the future with the same murderer Sov who is under the influence of Savathun. There is no going back once you learn your past life. We have LITERALLY seen this happen before and it is the weapon the darkness uses to mess with your mind and his big idea? "I need to get away from here. Respect my privacy and leave me be."
Good luck guys. First Ikora reveals all of the Hidden knowledge to Osiris Savathun and now she has an ally of a guardian. There is no doubt now that Crow is the missing link of how light-bearing secrets have been figured out. Savathun literally states she helped him because he reminds her of herself. She studied him.
All of this because it wasn't a choice for our guardian to tell him his past and also remind him we don't care about what has been done in the past. The threats now are far greater then that.

He shall now be known a Worc
-
<I wish we could've told him ourselves. Savathun showed him in like the worst way possible all because we didn't have a voice despite us literally being BFFs with Crow in the lore. Either way, Savathun deserves death.>

The crow seeing uldrens life through his eyes doesn't make him uldren again. Plus as he clearly says, the taboo nature or not, he isn't gge man he used to be.

NO!!! crow is not uldren, and he will never be uldren again. he knows what he did, or at least whatever savathun decided to show him, but i have faith that he will be a better person and he will redeem himself fully. he already has redeemed himself as far as i’m concerned! it’s just going to take time for him to heal after learning the truth. i wish we would have told him, heck even mara could have told him in a way that would soften the blow, but nevertheless i believe in crow. and he even has glint to guide him instead of dealing with it all on his own.
you have no idea how HEARTBROKEN I WAS THIS WEEK AAAAHHHHH I AM NOT GONNA BE OK FOR A WHILE
*Draws the Ace of Spades quietly*

Good. The character is hated by a majority of players that hated uldren sov was revived and renamed the crow. It’s stupid and lazy writing. The guardian shouldn’t just magically forget what he did and accept that he g at to live anyways. Same goes for many of the characters in the world of destiny. It would be one thing if he was revived years later down the line and possibly the guardian or other characters were killed off. But we have data of uldren sov. we have characters that remember what he did. We play as the guy or girl of killed him to begin with. The queen knows who her brother is. Petra remembers who he is and what he did to there people. The list goes on and on. Kill the character again. Bungie stop being lazy and make a new character or put an old character in as hunter vanguard. An be down with it.

ever since he left the shore he wasnt crow... he was bro
-
-
I disagree. Crow talked about second chances and now he has one. I don't think he will make the same mistake this time.
-
Crow has been manipulated by Savathûn from the start as Uldren was through Riven. Him regaining his memories is a difficult situation but doesn’t undo his life as Crow up until this point. Uldren is who he was and now he has to live with the memories of his action as him when that isn’t who he is anymore. That will not lead him to become Uldren again and even if it did, it wouldn’t be the Uldren we killed in Forsaken, The Uldren twisted by grief and darkness in the absence of his sister.
-
All we know is that she gave his memories back, and thats it. He isnt uldren again, he just know who he was before. Hell, even HE is scared of who he was. My man was almost having a panic attack from all of that.
-
Well, she did have a good point about her telling him vs. some random person.
-
You should understand that a person is more than their life experiences. There's been centuries of argument over nature vs nurture and largely that debate has come to... it's a bit of both. Crow both is, and is not, Uldren. In most of the ways that matter, Crow is Uldren, something Mara comments on a lot. How similar they are, save for the loss of memory. Crow is not Uldren as we knew him. Uldren would not have fled from Mara's side. Crow is like a child. Innocent, and frustrated secrets are being kept from him. We should have told him. If I were my player character, I would have. The whole story, I would have made Mara talk to him if she wanted my help. But we don't get choices on the story beats....
-
A lot of people here saying they want him to change back so they can kill him again and again, makes me feel like most people playing have no clue of the lore and backstory to uldren lol. Think its easy to forget uldren was under influence from riven, and was being manipulated. Wasn't a black and white situation. Most things aren't actually.

You can shoot Savathun (ghost r2 reload r2) Crow is not the one being manipulated. Mara is.
-
You would of stopped him from learning about why people are trying to stone him to death in the streets? Crow deserved to know, if he was Uldren again he would have gone right up to his sister who he was trying to return to life his entire arc. If you read the lore entry you unlock by listening to the terminal, it talks about how glint knows he’s still crow on the inside. He doesn’t want to go back to who he was saying he fears it, and tells us himself that he doesn’t blame us for not telling him, he wouldn’t have done it either.
-
I for one am happy he knows his past. Hopefully he comes trying to take revenge on us and we can kill him again and again and again as long as his ghost keeps bringing him back I want to be the one to put a bullet in his head again
-
The way he was going on and on this season I knew we’d eventually get to this point. If Savathun didn’t tell him, Mara would have, or Petra would have thrown it in his face. I’m not really all that keen on Crow. Never really have been. He reminds me of that awkward, emo kid on your street, who’s mom was friends with your mom, and you were “encouraged” to play with them. But the whole time you were looking forward to leaving.
-
Was I the only one that equipped Ace of Spades when he touched Savathuns’ crystal?
-
How has a ninja not taken this post down yet?
-
He is Still Crow, with Uldrens Memory's. Crow is struggling now, that he knows who he was in his Past life, Meaning he could adopt Uldrens Ways. Crow is Still Crow. Uldrens dead. Which is why it's Taboo amongst Guardians.
-
tl;dr—Even knowing his past, he continues to act like a spoiled emo teen and runs off to cry in his mascara. Boo-hoo. Can we shoot him again?
-
I literally could care any less about the game’s story, just point me in the direction and ill go kill anything thats not a civilian.
-
Do you think we will turn him into a gjallarhorn? Or what type of weapon after we kill him again?
