To understand this next chapter, I'm going to back up a little bit.

First day at the new store, I was working in the kitchen like usual and I was told that I would be the inventory manager. I'm a full time college student and a full time employee, but no big deal I can make it happen. I go on vacation for a week, then I get covid and am out for two weeks. In the three week interval I am gone, a right old mess is made of our inventory system.
No fault of the people managing it while I was out, they only expected to run it for a week and we switched suppliers while I was gone.
I struggled with that system for three weeks.
the new supplier was terrible, not sending us what we ordered, sending us stuff we didn't order/ can't even use. They once sent us a bunch of meat packaging items and a case of sweet potato soufflé. we don't sell sweet potato soufflé.
The bosses are angry. Work is a mess. I'm heartbroken, school is overwhelming me and right as I work it out and fix the problem, I have a meeting with the owner and he takes me off inventory, and gives me a raise.
It probably was the hardest three weeks of my life.
Coming out of that, I am a month removed from the break up and I decided that it might be time for me to gaze again into the pre-connubial pool.
Enter: my sister in law, with a truly beautiful, terrible, horrible, lovely, bad idea.[/quote]
