Now I know most will find this stupid, but I think it's prolly not a bad idea. Look I know Destiny 2 already has plenty of cooperative pve activities, like strikes, nightfalls, exploring destinations and Raids, this I know. But in crucible/ Gambit, your going to have to face other players, and 90%- 95% of the the time, those players will beat you a lot. Why can't we have a training arena or even a shooting range at least to practice aim and pvp movement before doing the real deal?! Other games like the new battlefield and Halo infinite will have stuff like this, so why can't Destiny 2?

Not a bad idea. Plenty of players avoid pvp, because they're scared of it. They know they don't know what they're doing and will just get destroyed. They'll feel stupid for trying and be stuck with a low k/d for all the world to see. Plenty of those players don't know anyone to practice with, wouldn't get the same experience they'd get playing against randoms in crucible anyway, and don't want to be competitive with their friends. Another option that might help players with crucible hesitancy is giving the ability to hide or reset their pvp stats. -
Best answer after looking heavily into this myself recently is this, while your idea isn't a bad one effectively everything you need is already there you just need to switch up the way you view crucible types. Ok so firstly I would say this is a mantra of sorts of mine, play to learn not to win. Playing with this in mind has helped me in a number of ways. It removes the worry of loosing all together and in all honesty you should expect heavy losses untill your willing to improve because you can't get better than your best. That only changes when you see your best as well your worst. Control is a good way to learn to attack as 90% of the time you know the enemy will be within 3 set points on the map. Also a huge tip i picked up is watch your health. If you just nailed one person into thier coffin and are left with 15% health why would you try take another person who's charging you if you ha e no way to one tap them. Just run. This also helps you learn to better use your abilities to avoid and this transfers to attacking too. After you get confident in this arena try going into glory playlist. 3v3 is to out it bluntly a boiling pot of bull....... you know the word. But this will encourage you to play more defensively. One other thing if your gripping the controller and fin your pressing the l3 r3 tick buttons in your gripping way to tightly. Having loose hands helps you react a lot fast the vulcan death pinch fingers in pvp trust me ive learnt this the hard way lol. Further to this while alot of people hate doing this next part it is near essential because your entering an arena where this really matters. Stats stats and more stats. Look at how you play if you love rushing everywhere build 100 mobuility, add to that with 100 strength if your always leaning on your mele for that clutch and the third 100 stats well the choice is your but try build a triple 100 stats build leaning on your strengths you will.be surprised how much this helps by complimenting your playtime. Exotics are also a part of this. Look for exotics that compliment you in how you play. Eg why use a sniper if your never sat in that range your wasting a heavy dps weapon by just burning that slot. Lastly look at where your typical playtime range is mine is close to mid falling off to long so as an example I'll use a shotgun ( not the best with them but not the point) and vex this covers those ranges. I wouldnt use a sniper and a hand cannon because it doesn't compliment my play range. Hope this helps.
