I need to change my bungie name I was never given the option to change it it was just made. I want it changed. But says can not be changed

Bungie names were assigned based off the account you were on when you first logged into D2 after the release of season 15. If your name ran afoul of the censor then it would auto-change it to Guardian and 4 numbers. The ability to change your Bungie name is currently not available, but Bungie is working on such a feature with an expected release date some time this Winter.
