YT: Sweatcicle demonstrates exactly how much better Always on time is compared to other sparrows for those who don’t believe me or don’t want changes.
For years I’ve never had an opportunity to use another sparrow since the Always on Time sparrow DOMINATES when it comes to perks, speed and other bonuses. It’s faster, has SIX boosts and has a short cool-down to boot.
As someone who love to sparrow fly this sparrow is basically required, not to mention why should I use other sparrows that are MUCH slower? It’s kind of ridiculous.
Obviously a solution to this issue would be increasing all sparrows to match AoT’s current speed while implementing a similar system as the ghost 2.0 so we can slot specific perks to suit our needs like side boosts, stealth, reload or maybe new perks too.

Edited by AppleSoda: 12/20/2021 7:26:33 PMMy take is that raid sparrows (and sparrows from other comparable endgame sources) should just all be as good as Always on Time or have something similarly unique to keep them desirable. Keeping them slightly better than Eververse sparrows feels right, although giving other legendary/exotic sparrows access to the increased base speed or the damage avoidance might be appropriate. But on top of this, just let us transmog or something similar with sparrows. It really is annoying seeing tons of beautiful sparrows that the team clearly put a lot of thought into and having to say “oh well, I’ll never use that, I’ll just use my bland Scourge sparrow.” Basically, make getting endgame sparrows desirable, but let us have the looks we want on them.
