Bungie has stated on so many occasions, DO NOT use the postmaster for storage or you risk losing items, This is avoidable if you just used an app like Dim or Ishtar where you can drag items from your postmaster to your character and then dismantle them. Bungie will not replace these items.

Like its the players fault that bungie doesn't allow to hold more than 10 Asc Shards and you can't even put them in your vault. You cannot store/stockpile them anywhere else than postmaster. What if I grind one day then I don't really have time to deal with the postmaster, and the items disappear. Is it again the players fault that the game is a buggy mess?
