Its not meant to be savage. Video game shouldn't be overtaking your life to the point where you can't function in real life. There is reasons why this happened to this person and this person should research the reasons to avoid it from happening again with something else. Gaming is a hobby and can be balanced with your real life.

That isn't good. The addiction to a video game could be due to things in a person's life causing that person to escape through the video game and avoid real life. Depression, anxiety, and other mental states is usually associated with it. Addiction to something is an entire different topic. This person will most likely replace destiny with something else and lead to the same issue. If your a child, teen, or young adult I don't expect you to understand, but suggest that you research it and we should all be more sensitive to people struggling with these issues.
