I don't think destiny is your problem. If you are an adult and cannot put your real life obligations over something as trivial as a video game, then that might be the real problem IMHO.

Let me guess, you are the resident addiction expert?

Edited by JazzyPaladin477: 1/26/2022 8:18:23 PMI didn’t say that. But it’s common sense that it’s called an addiction because it’s a compulsive behaviour. You can’t stop, you seek short term gratification no matter the consequences. Your opinion was not humble, is sounded like it was being read from a pretty high horse. You seem to think somebody can just stop a behaviour they are addicted too. If you can stop it’s a habit not an addiction.

I don't think that I am better than OP or anyone else. My point was that the problem is not destiny, is the addiction like you said. It could be destiny, it could be barbies for all I care, he quit destiny and he will probably find another addiction if not come back to this game if he does not deal with the addiction itself. Hope that I explained it better this time

At no point did op say destiny was the problem. Learn to read and comprehend.

If Destiny was not the problem , then you can fix your problem and still play. You should learn to read and comprehend what you read. He clearly stated and I will quote for you so there is no confusion in your part "I’ve put the game over so many real life obligations in the years, (very bad addiction), I can’t continue anymore."
