I just use DIM to create loadouts
When I'm in orbit I apply loadouts with the App
Also, i don't really change loadouts and ornaments every 15 mins.
Maybe once or twice a session

I use DIM all the time too and I didn't even realize it has the ability to save loadouts.

Yep, just goto the loadouts tab, choose loadout optimizer and start crafting. One recommendation is set the upgrade materials to ascendant shards, that way it will tell you what armor pieces could use a little more leveling. You may have some armor in your vault that you forgot about. You can apply all the mods you need to. Once you build a loadout, just hit the save button.

I'll check it out

You can apply mods now since they took away the cost. They will only apply when in orbit though.

I mean I have high stat armor in every slot. Triple 100s in the areas I need it. Why change up
-
I need to change up constantly! For instance: vanguard strike playlist specifies play as arc, solar, or void - change it up. Some bounties (for whatever) specify damage type so change it up. Raid or dungeon team might need particular roles so change to that (enough Warlock wells? well play chaos reach or stasis turret). Each change in role likely (for me) needs different exotics and different specs (turret warlock needs high discipline, maybe the Stag exotic; well warlock needs phoenix or lunafactions ...) Like I said, changing up constantly.

Sure DIM has my preferred loadouts with mod allocations. When I'm in orbit, i use my phone to apply a change with the DIM app. When shifting between raid vs other activities, there is normally a lull between the even starting while we are getting players. Easily can apply a change. Almost all of my sets have the same stat allocation. 100 recovery, 100 Discipline are my base loadouts. If I'm shifting to a different exotic piece, whether it be OEM, Peacekeepers, Peregri-blam!-, my alternate armors in my inventory are all ready for a quick swap without changing my stat allocation too much.
