I will say, it’s just worth [i]trying to[/i] get a PS5 or PC, really anything that can run better than PS4 for THIS game. I haven’t really noticed anything to bad (i’m on PS5) maybe sometimes if I try to go into my inventory while loading into crucible.
But hopefully they fix it because it seems annoying.

Shouldn't require you to switch in the first place, it shows bad optimization on their side

Not really… Destiny isn’t the worst game on PS4 to play, any new COD just kills PS4, like to the point where you cant close the game (at least for me) And even older games (which were optimized for PS4) are still REALLY slow.

The PS4 load times are slow no matter what game it is. Especially with D2. The load times haven't changed at all in the past couple of years. I say it's more of the PS4 than the game. Also people need to remember to clean out their system every few months

Yeah, I’m sure the OP’s SSD helps, but investing into next gen is better anyway, every game is better with it.
