After spending a good hour browsing through the forums and rules, I was left more confused than I had been before entering.
Some players use macros for Quality of Life reasons, such as auto-dismantle those pesky blues we keep getting and mass-buying resources from the Spider, and others for more entertaining reasons like the classic Titan Skating. There was even a forum I read regarding a player asking if they could use macros to help them play with a disability, something that was answered with an affirmative yes. If you do even the most basic of searches on Youtube, you'll find tons of players that use macros to afk farm the Shattered Throne for XP on their season pass.
I'm not asking about means of Auto-aiming and crouch macros in crucible or means to give yourself an unfair advantage against other players, and I want to make my question absolutely clear. Where is the line? What is and is not allowed in terms of macro usage on this game? Can we use macros to AFK the Throne? To mass-buy from Spider? To Titan/Hunter Skate? To auto-dismantle? So far, the only answer I've uncovered is yes and no, which doesn't help.
