I was going back through the D1 Sunbreaker Titan perks and abilities and man I forgot how beastly they were. One of the perks we had is basically what the exotic Hallowfire Heart does. Then remember these perks and why didn’t we just keep them when you guys made D2?
1. Stoke the Forge
Natively reduces the cooldown of your Sunstrike melee. Getting a killing blow with Sunstrike instantly recharges it.
2. Flameseeker
Your Hammer of Sol will alter its flight path to seek out your enemies.
3. Explosive Pyre
Enemies felled by your hammer explode, chaining fiery Solar damage to others.
4. Simmering Flames
When Super energy is full, grenade and melee abilities recharge twice as fast.
5. Cauterize
Enemies brought down by your fire regenerate your health
6. Fire Keeper
When standing in a Sunspot you gain an Overshield and Hammer of Sol lasts longer.

Edited by Erijian: 2/9/2022 9:00:05 PMI think Hammers in general have some curve to them in Destiny 2 so Flameseeker is unnecessary. Explosive Pyre is in the Fire-Forged node and Cauterize (Now called Sol Invictus) alongside Fire Keeper (Now called Sun Warrior with some added changes) are in the Siegebreaker node. Stoke the Forge kind of exists in Mk.44 Stand Asides (50% on hit instead of 100% on kill) and Simmering Flames got turned into Hallowfire Heart like you said. Added bonus is Suncharge which got converted into the light attack for Fists of Havoc. Bungie reuses a lot of concepts from Destiny 1 ability-wise. This isn't really a bad thing, but I like new things more than returning ones
