Hi, quick question about using a VPN here. Many VPNs, mine (mullvad) included, have a feature called "Split Tunneling" where certain programs can be whitelisted to bypass the VPN. This sounds great for Destiny, has anyone tried using it?
I'm mostly asking because it requires you to pick and choose exe files to whitelist, and Destiny + Battleye kinda have a ton of them. I'm worried that if I whitelist most of them but fail to whitelist one it might cause error codes. Or worse, cause the anticheat to get confused and flag my account for a ban, perhaps thinking it's network manipulation or intentional interference with it.
Is this safe to do, and if so what all files do I have to add? Advice from anyone who's tried this before would be great, thanks!!
So far the exe files that seem critical are "destiny2.exe", "destiny2launcher.exe", "BEService_x64.exe", "BEService.exe", "BEService_d2.exe", and "steamwebhelper.exe", but I kinda want some kind of verification before I try launching it with them whitelisted.
