Lots of bounties don’t require that you have to get to the strike via a vanguard playlist
You can launch into strikes directly via the map to get your alien-specific kills. Like the EDZ Taken strike is my go-to for Taken kills.

Oh yeah for sure. It’s just unfortunately the bounties I often want to compete are playlist specific.
