Please spend 30 seconds to read this reflection.
The whole community, from purely PvE to purely PvP players, is giving you feedbacks on every aspect of the game.
We are talking about PvP experience, how we feel about grinding, things that need to be revisited in PvE, …
Bungie you are SO LUCKY TO HAVE THIS COMMUNITY, BUT WHY DON’T YOU LISTEN TO US ?!
We propose everyday upgrades to improve players experience of this game, but our requests are wether thrown in the trash or applied months later.
There are topics where both PvP and PvE players agree on, like Gambit, the infinite farming to craft weapons, glaives … and so many others. You just need to scroll the forum to have an idea.
Sometimes you write in your TWABS that you “hear us” and are “monitoring”, but we NEVER SEE CHANGES.
Let me name a few emblematic PvP examples:
- STASIS NERF, you addressed it more that 1 year after its introduction, when instead everyone that played crucible complained about it since day 1. But it took you ONE DAMN YEAR, during which hundreds of players left the game (reports talk by themselves);
-AUTO RIFLES META, do you remember how strong was the Hard light ? We all do, but again it took you more than a season to nerf it, that means several MONTHS;
-120 rpm HAND CANNONS, that was a terrible time. And guess what ? It took you MORE THAN A YEAR to nerf them.
So what’s the problem with you?
Are you pretending to hear us? Seems like you do not care about YOUR GAME ?
We propose everyday initiatives to revive this game that is almost dead because of old, grindy, repetitive contents.
But you simply let our voices die.
The few thing that you manage to fix, take too much time. But the damage is already done.
To everyone reading this POST, please LIKE IT or COMMENT IT to share your opinion.
I would love this post to reach Bungie’s attention.
It is for all of us, who play it everyday and know it better than them.
We are left alone.
This game has so much potential but who manages it simply does not care (cause I’m sure that their are capable).
The community is the heart of every game, cause without them there would be no game.

Edited by Spawn Of Apathy: 3/25/2022 12:24:39 PMJust because you and a several others have an issue with something doesn't mean Bungie has to drop everything and tune it. Bungie wanted to let people have some fun with Stasis. I mean the new class was a big selling point for their latest expansion. But there were aspects of statsis that were hit with a nerf almost immediately. Like how long you were frozen for in PvP, and the Warlock melee. Not everyone hated the 600rpm auto rifle meta. Many loved it. Especially those people that don't like Hand Cannons, which have been the meta more than any other weapon type. And it's not even like Hand Cannons were bad that season. It's just that Auto Rifles were finally just as good. And who are YOU to tell people that love using Auto Rifles and have been hoping they'd be meta, that they have to always be at a disadvantage to other weapons? Here's the thing. Bungie does listen. You know how I know they listen? Because even by your own admission these things were addressed. You can't say "WE NEVER SEE CHANGES", because you do. We aren't playing in anything close to an auto rifle meta. Stasis is far less potent in PvP than it was at the Beyond Light launch. And 120s are not the de facto best Hand Cannons option around. But they're not just gonna rush to their source code and reduce range and damage values by 30% the moment a small group of people moan about getting killed by something. WE are NOT part of Bungie's design team for Destiny. Sure we can make suggestions. And maybe if it is something that fits Bungie's vision and it's something they can execute they might implement it. Bungie does not have infinite resources, even with the $3.6B they got a few months ago. And no matter what Bungie does it won't please everyone. You pretend to speak for the community as a whole, but you don't. I and many many others have our own wish lists of things we'd like to see changed or added to the game, and it may not have 1 item you care about. Like, if it were up to me, every 3 months we'd see the meta change. Maybe 360 ARs this season, then next season it's a variety of side arms. Season after that high impact pulse rifles, after that, 200 rpm scout rifles. So on and so forth. And we find out what the new meta will be like 3-4 weeks before the new season, so you can farm for any weapons and rolls you may want to use. And if you don't like the meta we're in, well too bad, maybe next season you will, see you then. But this takes planning and a lot of work. I'm sure it's just easier to make tweaks here and there to the sandbox, rather than try to redefine the game every 3 months.
