THE SMOKER
primary void grenade launcher. magazine size 2-4
shoots smoke packages that create a smoke cloud on impact. smoke clouds blind enemies inside it.
smoke cloud size is same as a smoke grenade.
deals bad damage in pve and pvp, like ticks of pve 30, pvp ticks of 1-2.
IT HAS INTRINSIC OVERLOAD. tick damage is consistent instead of mods.
catalyst: increase smoke cloud size 3 times the original + or reload speed stat.
no need for weaken effect, damage, or slower moving speed for guardians in pvp in cloud.
just a wide area of blinding to pve enemies with a cloud that makes it harder to see in pvp, maybe harder to see enemies inside/through it.
basically blinds pve enemies in a wide area, also obstructing your own vision.
in pvp it could do literally nothing other than obstructing vision and it would be a viable option.
also making those heatseeking weapons in europa and seraph weapons a sort of counter.
this idea stems from the glassway boss room where everything comes from sides and overloads that you can't blind. this exotic would be a must for me instead of triple builds like 3x bleak watcher, 3x invis hunter build, 3x well of radiance(did not work for me), triple blinding grenade launchers because of limited ammo and messing up stasis turret order etc.
void element not because of minotaurs but from smoke grenades.
also we know poison is good against overloads, damage over time, ticks, because they constantly apply overload, making them much more consistent, like divinity, overload le monarque, overload thorn or osteo striga if you didn't need to shoot half of your mag etc.
bungie pls make this an exotic.
