I agree with you, but ultimately why do you care about gunsmith rank? I gave up on D2 high level content and just play to kill aliens. Play those activities that allow me to do that in quantity and with max explosive effect. Weapon crafting turned out to be meh so don’t need the elements. I do run the 4 bounties each week and i’m nearly at level 16, but its not a goal. So many other things i wish for in this game as an older mediocre solo player.
