As someone who was a D1 Warlock vet, I have loved playing as a different class for a change, that being a hunter. I love the movement it provides as a class, and I've had a lot of fun playing it in GM's.
However, there is a problem. There are only two true neutral exotics that can be used with any class effectively. These are Stomp-EE5 and Fr0st-335. These are both extraordinarily useful pieces of hardware in the field. Stomp-EE5 provide a boost to what truly helps hunters as a class, and Fr0st-335 are exceptional at providing ability cooldown and increasing overall utility across subclasses.
The only truly neutral options we have are to move faster, which is quite useful and therefore used by the entirety of hunters, or to have ability cooldown reduced, which having higher mobility can help with already given dodges refill our melee.
This is great, but I would love to more TEAM CENTRIC neutrals. Hunters, while fun, lack team coordinative abilities. Omnioculous, Aeons, and the new Renewal Grasps are good changes to this given the hunter's formula is somewhat selfish, but it isn't enough. I want to feel more like a benefit to my friends without having to run Aeons all the time or without having to run void or stasis.
I would love it if Bungie considered bringing back exotics ideas from D1, like a "Crest of Alpha Lupi" for hunters that they could use to provide additional mobility and increased super recharge by using our class ability near enemies. This obviously doesn't have to be the case, but it feels like a needed change. I assume Bungie has recognized this per the two new exotics being more team oriented, but I think having another neutral exotic (not bound to a subclass) that helped out our fellow guardians
would be amazing.
Anyone else feel this way?

*Note: I may have misrepresented myself in the last paragraph regarding the old "Crest of Alpha Lupi." I was suggesting an exotic akin to D2 titans chest piece that offered Hunters the ability I specified as an example. I am aware that the old Crest of Alpha Lupi did not do what I wrote.
