How to clear text chat history?
Text Chat is only needed for one game yet it lingers for hours after. Before crossplay it was simple - it was off. It's poping up especially when you are doing postmaster does not help a lot.
Who knows how to clear it on Xbox?
Bungie's docos keep silence on the matter.

Just found this out thanks to someone in Datto’s chat. To clear the text chat box in-game on console, just open the chat, bring up your keyboard, and type “/clear” without quotes. Finally! No more closing and relaunching the game just to clear away the callouts from your last LFG raid in your game chat!!!

Sorry if this is a bit of a thread resurrection, but a good way to do this is to type `/?` into the chat - this will show chat instructions, and essentially clear previous chat (I typically use this for obnoxious public chat content that I don't want to look at :) ).
