It would've been cool to have a backstory where a level of the White-Gold Tower was used for political assassinations and Dark Brotherhood politics. The way Skyrim portrayed TDB made it into a nonsensical slaughterfest of idiotic proportions, like it's an endless cycle of petty revenge and unworthy murder just for a simple incantation. I haven't seen Death Note but I get the concept, and now TDB is just every sentient being on the world having one of those books.
