let me start by saying, I don't hate it, but I don't love it. I just finished up fixing up my vault, making sure I have space in my inventory and logging off for the update. Just rethinking about this season and it's all over, of course the start of Witch Queen is still the highlight, the Vow of the Disciple was amazing, new setting of Throne world is trippy, etc, just the general excitement of a new expansion. I still don't enjoy Crafting, now I've seen some players dominate with Piece of Mind and Likely Suspect, but I just don't have any real desire to craft those weapons when I enjoy getting a random roll from a challenging dungeon or raid. Network was poor early on, around the last few weeks it's gotten better. But as much as I thought it was bad, was hearing from a console player "hey, are you also seeing bad frame rates?" As much as D2 was 2017, the amount of work is starting to show it's age. Void 3.0 is too confusing, I keep running into players who keep asking "how do I get invisible smoke ability?" And before this ended, was wondering "how do I do shattered grenades?" And I'm not too thrilled over Violation rounds, I'll use them with void weapons, but I just find that players run out in the middle of the field to get a well, and then just get smacked down by an Ogre. It just don't have the same desire to use it than other perks. But I'm happy Void Titan is buffed. Fireteam players not bringing Mods... at a raid, I don't mind being the guy who saves the day on a Psiops Battleground game.... but it's a Raid, and it's always loud mouths who want to insult others as they get knocked out by an overload Ogre. This really did make the whole gameplay feel restricted to certain play style, when in reality we all want to be goofing off with our favorite load outs. And if it's not that, then players don't bring weapons to pop shields with, so guys who carry Arbalest or Eriana's Vow were true heroes of the game. The Vault Space became a new level of stress, especially with crafted materials, guns with deep sight, I've taken advantage of other character's inventory, their post master, etc just to find new slots to hide anything. It's not a good system, because it's 40 minutes just to get a gun I need to set up a daily play. But there's a lot of "well, you have to carry to rocket launchers to make room for my main." I don't hate this season, But I didn't go out of my way to do everything.... that's for the next season which I'm excited for. Favorite line is Immaru "Neon Nerds!"
