HDR looks like crap after WQ launch and is still broken in season 17 (i found a fix)

First of all, this is on Windows 10, latest update and latest graphics drivers. 1080Ti GPU. So HDR was perfectly before the update, but 4.0.0.3 broke something. HDR looks washed out and dull, worse than with HDR off. However, if i make the game unfocused, like when i press windows key to bring up the start menu, or in when in Windowed mode (with a title bar, but not necessarily a visible one, as I'll explain later). If you also have this problem, the easiest way to notice it is by enabling HDR in windows and in-game, and then enable Borderless Windowed in video settings in-game and then press the windows key. I found a workaround which seems to make HDR work as it should. If I enable Borderless Windowed mode in game, and change some settings via the cvars.xml file i can get the game window to be 1441x2560 pixels (my screen is 1440x2560). One row of pixels will be outside of the screen space, but the game will remain in windowed mode, and HDR looks awesome. If i set the game window to be the same size as my screen, and window position to y=0, HDR looks bad. I believe this is because the game thinks I'm in windowed full screen mode (???) You can find the cvars.xml file at: %appdata%/bungie/DestinyPC/prefs You can edit this in notepad. Settings i changed are:<cvar name="window\\\\\\\_position\\\\\\\_y" value="-1" />and<cvar name="windowed\\\\\\\_resolution\\\\\\\_height" value="1441" />
